Sounds pretty reasonable to me, actually. Perhaps he’s not a foreign policy guru, but he has the right instinct when he’s questioning what kind of people the opposition actually are and how we can support them. That indeed has to play a role in the decision making, not just “hey an arab uprising, let’s give those fuckers democracy and call it a day” Obama is woefully inadequate on foreign policy and it never stopped him from getting into the white house, but at least cain is willing to act based on the available information, rather than some rigid dumbfuck ideology that he learned by pal’ing around with edward saeed.
