In recent news, the illuminati were spotted on TV arrogantly explaining…
Who controls the British Crown?
Who Keeps The Metric System Down?
We Do, We Do…
Who keeps Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
We Do, We Do…
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Gutenberg, a star!
We Do, We Do…
Who robs kegfish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?
We Do… We Doooo!
LOL. That’s gold.

“I say remove all money from politics period.”
Do you mean remove all campaign money? If you remove all money, you will have to elliminate all government functions including, teachers, policemen, firemen, etc. Or you can eliminate all funding done by federal government and leave it up to the states. Pull a reverse “Euro” as well and give all states the power to print, some with large government, some without.
Jay — that would be a better solution than what Cronkite is proposing, which is impossible given the amount of money that the Federal gov’t can now dole out.
Cronkite — in all seriousness — how in the world could you think you could limit the corruption inherent in large bureaucratic government merely by limiting (some) access to the financing of it’s primary agents?
All you would do is drive the corruption that much deeper underground. We are better off with sunshine laws that force all contributors to be named so we know who is behind every pol and program. That is, if we cannot devolve much of the Feds current overreach back to the States.
_______
Jay,
I do mean remove money from the campaign process.
