I know, for someone not into astronomy it is not easy to seperate objective information from the chinese whispers of conspiracy theorists. (But any “if rumors are true”-like statement is a big hint)
What I find of most concern about the Elenin-Doomsday-Crowd is that an asteroid hitting earth i s something to be concerned about, and they are pushing that concern into the whacky-conspiracy-theory-corner.
