Hopefully you understand there is a difference between charity and taxes. Right? Charity is when people give of themselves (time, treasure, etc) willingly. Taxes are funds taken from subjects of the realm to fund government projects. I’ve met many a liberal who would never give to charity because they figure voting for Dems is good enough. Nope.
Buffet is a dishonest tool. If he really wanted the rich to pay their fair share (what the hell is fair anyways?) he would push for a simplified tax system. He often talks about how little he pays in taxes. However, he doesn’t fight against the system that he is able to use/abuse to avoid paying taxes. No, he’d rather say some other guy should pay more taxes. Zero respect for that man.
make me laugh.take a 40% haircut on your pay,for starters. then,they’ll pay into so- sec like us americans. have a 401k,like us americans. pay your own damn health insurance,like the rest of us americans. term limits,term limits ,term limits………..oh and did i mention term limits! why is it that when a person becomes employed by the government,that after a while,they feel themselves above the rest.and then turn around and begin to think that the very people that they govern, turns into hate. because after a sustained amount of feeling superior, we’re just shit to these people……..
So sorry Brucie. If he thinks the GOVT is so fucking important that he wants to raise all the people in the world struggling to keep their businesses open and employ people, then he better start by taking his “fortune” and handing it over to Mr. Obama.
I for one, think the gov’t has got way too much of our money already.
