Did anyone think to blame everyone ? We are here because we have voted incumbents into office time and again. We let them screw the citizen while they work hard for their corporate masters. Part of the corporate masters is the private banks of the non Federal Reserve.

The S&P itself over the weekend emphasized that the reason for the downgrade is the debt. Duh! Secondary to the debt is the fact that our politicians are spineless cowards who are only worried about their own re-elections. Although I don’t believe the S&P called them spineless cowards.

Cronk, I’m not sure why they have not downgraded the other half of the world. Part of me thinks it is a hail mary pass by the S&P in an attempt to save our country (and veritably, the world) before it is too late. A wake-up call, so to speak. That is how I view it. Also, perhaps they hate Obama?

No apparently (rumor has it) that S&P wants to do more business in Europe. Why else would France still be AAA and the US AA+ and on credit watch?

france is next to be down graded.it was posted here over the weekend and the stink lead to a zh bit… but what threw me off,was they were to participate in buying bonds from spain.
