What do you expect, everyone is smoking weed.
After talking with a few such employees.. they figure all the anger over the issues is “jealousy.”
They have no financial concept of who’s paying for their pensions. They say.. the state or the city.
You do realize that’s ME? (taxpayer).
No clue, don’t care. Will it ever end? I guess it will at some point but the pain point isn’t there yet. It makes for good stories on the news and web but until it reaches a real breaking point, California will continue to make it’s obligations at the expense of everybody else involved.
ludicrous
the post office is one of theeee largest offenders’ of this same thing. there are folks there that have so much comp time,, that they can take up to 2 years off, get paid for it, and 2 weeks later retire. if that was in the private sector, you wouldnt have a job !
