Imagine if Russia — instead of doing what it has been accused of doing last year — had funded and facilitated an attack on US soil that killed thousands of Americans. Then imagine that US policymakers, rather than punish the Kremlin by cutting diplomatic ties, imposing sanctions, seeking legal recourse, or all of the above, covered up its involvement in the attack and continued to treat it as a loyal ally.

The final prize has always been Iran, and they are still working to get us to war with that country and, unfortunately, Trump seems to be their hapless dupe.
The fact that the neocon plans have been a disaster for us and for Israel (with an Iran-friendly government now in Bagdad) doesn’t stop these morons and their MIC allies from seeking more war.

Fly – I don’t pay anything to read your site and it was the first place I looked to figure out what the hell was going on on Friday. So thanks for that. As for reacting to the Friday morning news with any kind of a trade – the market was calling bullshit on ABC’s story by 1 in the afternoon Friday. Algos were running the show late Friday morning – scaring mom and pop out of their etfs ahead of tax reform. But there is volatility to ignore and volatility to respect. Eventually (within the next 12 months) we will see some volatility to respect. An ultra cheap vertical spread in VIX calls placed on a calm December afternoon with 3 to 6 months of time on it might not be a dumb way to anticipate that kind of volatility. But I’d prefer to react to it vs. anticipate. Lets watch for someone at ABC (or a close relative) to get a algo hedge fund job soon.
