After sleeping on the Flynn news, I think Cernovich is right. The Flynn request for immunity is fake news, in the sense that it’s normal operating procedures for an attorney to request it, given that he is not being compelled to offer testimony.

During last year’s campaign, Flynn commented on the fact that some of Hillary Clinton’s aides were granted immunity in the investigations into her private email server. He said that getting immunity “means that you have probably committed a crime.”
Everybody is a hypocrite.
That’s all when “under normal circumstances”. This is not normal circumstance. This is a political witch-hunt and all Flynn is getting is sound advice that is logical. It’s the same as your right to remain silent as not to incriminate yourself when charged. To remain silent does not mean one is guilty. For that reason, he is not an hypocrite. But the Soros/Klinton clique wants him to incriminate himself. There is no fairness in that.
Actually, they’re completely different. The fifth amendment is a constitutional right against being to be forced to incriminate oneself. Immunity from prosecution is not a constitutional right. Flynn is asking for immunity in exchange for his testimony. Generally, he will only get it if he has something substantial to disclose, which can be used to indict others (prosecutors grant immunity to underlings in exchange for them rolling on their bosses). In fact, usually part of the immunity deal is that he will forgo his right to invoke the fifth amendment. Which makes sense, he can no longer, technically, incriminate himself because he has been given immunity.
This isn’t him wanting to remain silent or invoke the fifth, he could do that without anyone’s permission. This is him preparing to confess to a crime and directly indict others in the process. Otherwise, he won’t be granted immunity.

So, since the Senate Intel Committee now turned down Flynn’s request for immunity, Flynn really has nothing of importance for them. Dud.
