What a fucking nitwit. This was one of the main reasons BREXIT got so much traction- the formation of these refugee neighborhoods right next to established, impoverished areas. The areas became hot zones for crime and corruption, making already dangerous areas even worse. Trust me, there are not 10,000 “structurally sound” homes in the city of Detroit. What’s more, the city can’t demolish most of the vacant ones because they can’t locate the owners.
