Nice. If you are able to, you should think about getting a business entity for ‘IBC and holdings’, like a C corp, and go IPO. That way, we can buy shares and share in the profits from IBC ad revenue, and you can give yourself a deductible salery, and with your additional cash to invest from your shares, you can leverage your earnings, and bank coin like a mother fucker. Plus it would give you the ammo to throw some serious fucking atomic grandes at the POS financials. Bear raid that FED DSL MER FHN and LEH shit to zero.
Of course you’d probably have greater restrctions on when you can post “fly buys/sells”, and having more money to manage would make it more difficult to quickly get out of postions if need be, and you’d have to have some good ass lawyer to make sure all the paper work is right, and to protect your from asshat haters that try to sue, but you could raise shitloads of capital to invest, you’d have a lot of freedom on what you could do with IBC and your holdings, and have all sorts of kickass tax deduction options.
And then you can let the other tabbed members manage a small portion of the portfolio.
If you did, I think ticker symbol IBC would be my largest holding…

Here’s a meaningful number I’d like to see – the average oil price currently reflected in end user purchases for everything from gasoline to corn to airline tickets to pizza to carpeting.
I’d bet that the number (which would be impossible to calculate) is below $100 both U.S. and globally – and possibly well below.
Conventional wisdom is that you can’t lose with oil, because demand has remained strong all the way through the rise above $130. I say that demand is starting to take a hit, and it is getting hit at sub-$100 to the end user.
The reasons I believe that the effective end-user average price is so much below the current price are: the rise has been very rapid and hasn’t worked its way through the supply chain, especially for non-fuel products; huge numbers of end users have been protected from market rates by government subsidies or price ceilings; and industry has absorbed some of the energy price increases to stay competitive.
Because of the lag in price signals, and the time required for consumers and industry to fully respond to those price signals, I consider it almost certain that oil prices will overshoot the level at which supply and demand are in balance.
Big Mike: David Einhorn has been shorting ALD for over 6-7 years based on the date of that video 2001/2002 and it still lives. He had to write a book about it to convince the world ALD is a type of ponzi scheme.
