Before this export ban, India was expected to export 10 million tonnes of wheat. This quite literally was the world’s only hope at resolving the wheat shortages to come, due to drought and war, as India is the #2 producer of wheat world wide.
Wheat is up more than 5% for the day. I’d fix my attention on ag stocks, particularly any company who helps increase the yield on crops, such as any potash play.

Celiacs won’t worry too much. Wheat can interfere with the gut’s ability to absorb nutrients, especially iron. Wheat is saturated with goodness such as glyphosate-laden Roundup. In the UK they flood the crop with RoundUp a few days before harvest because it increases the yield (stops the desiccation of the grains or some such thing). I understand that American wheat could be treated the same way.

oats are loaded w roundup too. It’s used as a desiccant. Organic is better but still has some from the rain.
per a Dr, all should take 1/4 tsp glycine 2x /day. It lessens absorption of roundup, which is carcinogenic. In fact the manufacturer paid a $10B settlement, NDA’d victims, admitted no wrongdoing, and continues to sell and use as before.
