SHOMP

I managed my holdings today like the professional that I am. Whilst many of you were caught short this morning, I was sublimely balanced and my losses were no more than 40bps throughout the entire day. Into the morning rip, a great many of you believed and got HOOKED into a rip tide directly into the mouth of a shark. I patiently observed the market, held my UVXY and TZA until green — and then I switched sides and bought a moderate sized position in TQQQ — due to the oversold flag inside Stocklabs.

I do not feeeeel good about doing this — but I am also long several commodity plays which may or may not serve as a hedge against a weak market. We haven’t been seeing great action in the oils, but certainly better than most areas of the market now.

I ended +76bps in trading +185bps in Quant and 40% cash.

If we dive lower in the morning, I will most likely buy the dip — not because I am bullish — but out of respect for the sublime harmony of mathematical precision (SHOMP) that is Stocklabs.
