RUSSIA THREATENS BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA WITH MILITARY ACTION IF THEY MOVE TO JOIN NATO

It’s reasonable to say NATO is no longer a deterrent in Europe, but instead a cause for instability. It’s not NATO that is forcing Putin to threaten military action of course — but the perception of NATO in Russia that is now a redline. That redline is based off the past 25 years of NATO led conflict and has pushed its borders right up to Russia’s at a time when American rhetoric blames Russia for everything from our election outcomes to a rainy day in Maine.

RUSSIA WARNS BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA SAYS WILL ALSO FACE THE SAME FATE AS UKRAINE, IF DECIDES TO BE A PART OF NATO

It would make sense to cease permitting Eastern European nations from entering NATO, and instead opt for diplomacy with their neighbors in a manner that isn’t malevolent. Thus far, we have heard nothing but belligerent statements out of all Eastern European nations towards Russia and I can understand why they dislike them. But like talking shit to a bully in a schoolyard, if you choose to open your mouth and talk shit — you must be in a position to back it up.

Estonia is the most outspoken Baltic nation and they have no airforce.

This is Russia’s sphere of influence and there isn’t a balance of power. The idea of NATO made sense when they had their Warsaw Pact; but now it’s unnecessary and the primary cause for all of the suffering taking place in Ukraine today.

Stocks don’t give a fuck, however, at least for the session. I am +265bps, heavily long commodities with 10% short.

Presently cooking a corned beef and getting ready for a night of wanton debauchery and beer/whiskey consumption.

Trying to think, were you always stupid? or just became one by trying to toe the republican/traitor’s line? Or doing it for ‘eyeballs’?
Trying to justify the sick criminal’s actions of threatening countries a whole continent away that he’d attack them if they join the NATO…WTF is wrong with you and your ilk?

Helen if you want to go get shot in Eastern Europe, be my guest. But none of us is going to take this “you’re a traitor” talk seriously. In 2016 the Democrats knowingly helped the Ukrainian and UK embassies try and sway a US election by implicating Russia and then you idiots spent the next 6 years making it very clear to Russia that you were going to pretend to believe all the lies you spread. They concluded you were a real threat.

You idiots – and your feckless hashtag campaigns – are the reason more than any other that Ukrainians are getting slaughtered. Go listen to any speech by Putin or Lukashenko; it’s a twenty minute tirade against you. Russia isn’t sacking Kiev because I’m a asshole. You’re the asshole.

And after Republicans seize pretty much every lever of power we’re going to have to start reevaluating this laissez-faire attitude we have to letting you clowns speak in public.

Excellent retort! Your opinions are always 100% correct because they are disconnected from any verifiable information – all opinion by definition is correct, but not necessarily accurate wrt the real world.

I think most readers here have lost capacity to judge evil when they see it.

but that’s okay… because we live in the west. Freedom and rule of law prevail and we can disagree without fear of being murdered.

Putin is fucking murdering people. NATO has not attacked russia. Ukraine is a democracy. young but so far working and they have a right to choose. Putin is a dictator and Russia is not a democracy. and it has no history of rule of law.

You may hate congress and all politicians and all this and that. but at least it’s a friking democracy and it has rule of law. It’s not perfect but it can improve. Dictatorship only work for the regime and its despote.

If you guys have such a hard on putin and his beloved russia go and live there. Like true red commies used to do back in the days. There always been people loving the counter narative and they would move to good old soviet. Move there. work for RT. get your paycheck from the source and be done with it.

No. I’m an American. Not a Ukrainian. Not a European.
And not a Natoian. I’m going to stay right here in my country. You don’t represent me abroad.

I don’t have to support either of them. Neither Russia nor Ukraine has acted like either ally or enemy to me. They both tried to meddle in my elections yet neither is stupid enough to pick a direct fight. Ukraine though is much smaller and weaker and played a dangerous game three ways between Democrats, Trump and NATO. They lost bad. Not my problem.

Sorry Fly, the above does not meet Minimum Disclaimer Requirements …heck, you did not even use the phrase “unprovoked invasion” in your post.

The Helenistas are upset and want you watchlisted.

@LawrenceLepard Crack up boom? Lots of people putting on the Hugo Stinnes trade. Buy an appreciating asset with fixed cost (was 3%, now 4%) 30 year debt. Housing prices YOY up 20%. 16% gross return, 80% levered (80/20). It works IF economy doesn’t implode (eg: Fed prints to infinity)

    @lisaabramowicz1
February’s U.S. housing starts were the highest since 2006.

    Probably nothing.
