Based on some information by CIA controlled PBS — markets just dumped out on a report that stated Putin has made the decision to invade Ukraine.
US OFFICIALS: THE US BELIEVES PUTIN HAS DECIDED TO INVADE UKRAINE AND COMMUNICATED THOSE PLANS TO THE RUSSIAN MILITARY. TWO ADMIN OFFICIALS SAY THEY EXPECT THE INVASION TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK—ECHOING WHAT SECRETARY OF STATE BLINKEN HAS STATED – PBS.

This isn’t news to me, since the writing had been on the wall for weeks and weeks. The initial response has been a fierce lift in WTI, now +5%, gold +1%, Natty somewhat recovering from losses, and a dump out in BTC and copper.
Net net I am +3%, due my a heavily levered portfolio of commodities coupled with large positions in SQQQ and UVXY.
My sense is the market will dump the fuck out while at the same time price in some pretty severe geopolitical events in Russia — affecting potash and oil prices to the upside.

Why is Russia invading Ukraine after they agreed to dump nuclear weapons for peaceful relations? Putin wagging the dog to distract from his pitiful economy? Where’s the outrage from the freedom lovers in our country?

Yup, Ukraine dumped their nukes and were getting on with Russia. But then we went back on our word and became involved in installing a government in Ukraine…and we had agents – like Nuland – let themselves be filmed and recorded while planning to install a hostile government.
Hostile or not pliant? That’s the excuse for invading a neighboring country? Don’t be a dupe. Stop making excuses for Putin. It’s just nationalism gone mad.
From the Russian point of view, THEE OTHER nuclear superpower installed a hostile regime on right on their border. And our assclown Nuland had herself filmed being involved. Stop making excuses for our dangerous mistakes.
Just a pretext for Putin to recreate the failed Soviet Union. The financial consequences will be unbearable for the elite.
The “news” is strictly propaganda.
That said. I think they will invade. I see it as calling the US bluff. They have little to lose and lots to gain. They can always make concessions and back off. It’s in their back yard. We are the ones who have to wage war half way around the world.
Make no mistake, this is a test of capability of the US empire – and China will probably act at the same time. Then there will be 2 fronts.
Reagan did the same to Russia before. He made them go broke. Now the tables are turned. We are not the power we were then. We are way woker and broker now. And Hunter Biden’s dad is no Reagan.
