The DOJ is confirming Mcafee was found dead in his Spaniard cell, after they announced they’d extradite him today for tax violations. I am guessing suicide — but who knows. I thought he was interesting, a little crazy, and a little shady. His recent gambit was to escape the IRS and he also was talking extreme shit about the US govt and he was a huge supporter of the crypto movement.

The man tweeted about how to subvert software companies by installing people in managerial positions, backdoors, covert channels. This was not long after tweeting “I love America, but it’s time we started seeing other people”.
I mean, you can imagine any number of scenarios that are plausible alternate realities. But, he was pretty special. RIP.
