Today the sporting website and pizza slob, Dave Portnoy, launched his ETF= BUZZ. I believe this to be an abomination and have good reason to believe the stock gods are angry because of this. A man who cavorts pizza shoppes and gambles money on basketball games has no place in finance. Might I suggest he cease trading immediately and open an account with Goldman instead of trying to “fight for the little guy?” Via making himself rich off launching of ETFs. This is a diabolical circumstance and needs to be rectified.
I cashed out today, 100% cash in my trading. While on vacation I lost 2% for the week, a small loss but annoying nonetheless. The Towne of Charleston is fantastic and I like how the old moneyed families here hate new “off” money, truly remarkable.
At any rate, I depart today and will be back to trading tomorrow. Let’s hope the markets don’t completely collapse. For the past few weeks, the Joe Biden administration has brought us nothing but pain and misfortune . My gains of +140% are barely enough to buy me a carriage house in Charleston. Let’s hope and pray for greener pastures and may the Gods strike down BUZZ and make Portnoy go back to burning his mouth in scalding pizza slices again.

A weaker “chimerica” is going to be inflationary. We got a glimpse with MAGA and now another with covid supply chain disruption. Dealing with China, demographics and technology advancements form the trio of disinflationary forces last decade. In some ways I say good riddence. Although quality has improved from some facilities in China, one can still purchase socks at Walmart made from 100% recycled fibres from China (avoid these!).
