They’re all running for the exits because liquidity is nil. This is now a credit crisis, massive blow out in spreads. Mortgage yields are HIGHER because of the stress. California munis down 13% today. Fucking unreal stuff, which is why they need to SHUT IT DOWN.
To be honest, a bank holiday and exchange holiday might be exactly what the Doctor ordered. Set up a massive government LTRO and lend money to everyone — FREE CASH FOR ALL. Moral hazard? Well, that or you’ll be talking about how airplanes used to fly in the sky when that company Boeing used to exist. A Mad Max environ will descend upon you — electricity being turned the fuck off — cars no longer being made or sold — barely driven. Technology will be forgotten and man will once again hunt for his food.

I have said in the Past… when China catches a cold, ROW catches the Flu. I was close, but wrong virus, lol, ouch. Anyway, China started this mess in 2009 buying up all the commodities it could to support this world. They did it for 10 years plus. They had to slowdown in a big way cuz of the Massive Debt it took on and their oversupply. BTW, Kinda strange how the Virus hit just before Chinese New Year and doesn’t effect kids just old people (China I am raising an eyebrow at you). Anyway, China ain’t coming to the rescue and has successfully slowed down their economy and got out of a lot of bad contracts with Force Majeure. They are now all giddy about AI and hopes to be new Silicon Valley now that everyone has to stay home. Our Bulls SHOULD have never taken this market over SPX 1750 ish , but they did, which suckered in so many Mom and Pops that thought this game was easy. So unless China announces Microwaves and Cars for everyone, we are stuck with this Massive Ugly, Ugly, Ugly Bubble that took 10 years to create and nobody ever cared. For Corona, I am still shaking my head that we had the Los Angeles Marathon this past Saturday…history will look back and say, “what the heck where these fools thinking about”.
