By the way, Fly, I listened to that XAIR investor day. I can’t believe you’re investing in some Israeli piece of shit company run by who may be the most obnoxious CEO I’ve ever had to listen to–Steven “Ok” Lisi. The fact that they changed their company named to “Beyond Air” as a cute way to copy “Beyond Meat” was enough of a sign that they are a piece of shit company with no real confidence in their own products. Nitric Oxide is not some wonder-drug–it’s been used and studied for decades. This company has nothing except some stupid delivery device which is apparently a little lighter and more convenient than the standard ones. Big fucking whoop.
If there’s a bear trap being set here I don’t think we see it until we break the lows. Hard not to want to buy stocks for a bounce, but not yet….
I’m sure we all remember SARS. 10% or so death rate (probably lower because as in most of these epidemics we have a reasonable idea of how many people died but certainly many more people had the virus and weren’t diagnosed). We never did develop a vaccine for that hideous respiratory disease that got it’s start in the southern Chinese live animal markets (there”s a surprise). We probably won’t develop a vaccine for COVID-19 in time to assuage the fear. People will panic, it’s what we do but the panic will eventually subside. Businesses will adapt. The human race will endure.
