It was a fine day, perhaps the best of the year for folks inside Exodus — because we made so much money on a day where everyone else lost.
This small bounce following the -1,000 print feels like a trap, but it could be legit. I do see staggering losses in the commodity space. Look at steel demand in China, comically offline.
Perhaps it’s best to wait for some dust to settle before legging into semis, no?

US quarantine isn’t going to work becuase they have been very slow to react. The CDC understandsthis which is why they say that there *will* be a lot more US cases, not that there *might* be.
Remember, the first thing they did was screen people at airports using with infrared thermometers (ignoring the fact that the non-medical oes are inacccurate). These peopel wandered around for several days before people beleived China who said that asymptomatic people could pass the disease.
They still aren’t duing a “hard” quarantine like China has:
1) only Americans that traveled to Hubei are being quarantined; trevelers to other parts of China will “self-monitor” at home
2) travelers who rerturned from China before Feb 2 face no quarantine or any other restrictions

Those of you who are thinking about buying the dip, have to answer to yourself these questions; What’s going to stop the virus and when? There’s not one single good news in the way of containment. Short of a vaccine, we’re looking at global economic shutdown! So buy the dip as a short term (very short) trade. Otherwise, you could be throwing money in a bottomless pit.
