I’ve been saying this for more than a year. China is likely to wait until the 2020 elections, or perhaps 2024, to cut a deal with America. Why ink a long term deal that hurts you if the main component of said deal (Trump) will be gone in a few years.

If China does not ink a deal before 2020 and Trump gets elected, they’re completely fucked. By extension, the lower and middle class in America will be fucked too, fucked with inflation.

Physical means in your hands. At home, under the bed, in a safe, underground in your yard, your attic, etc.
Physical not held by you means you don’t own it when the shit hits the fan. The depository can tell you to fuck off and if you’re lucky, they’ll give you cash.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t hold some in a depository but that certainly shouldn’t be your only strategy.
I live in an apartment with office and maintenance occasionally in and out when I’m not there no way to hide it there and mine is allocated.
