Gold and Bonds Are the Only Thing Trending

TLT and GLD are the truth. All of you ass-clowns who’ve been shitting on them will soon feel the backend of my whip, as I descend upon you with riches that make The Count of Monte Cristo look like a piker. It’s important that I keep telling you this, for when I die — these good deeds will offset all of the terrible and horrible things I’ve done in my life and gain me entry into heaven, where I intend to cavort and chortle, cavort some more, and whore.

I will tell you this much, and this goes without saying, buying gold is always a good idea — but it’s especially fine on days of decline. This applies to gold more so than any other asset class. If you think you’ve missed out on the trend, do not fear lads. There will be another sharp bounce in yields and with it gold will shrink, like an old man’s dick without viagra. On that day, listen to me now, get out there and buy gold miners with an angry vengeance. If people get in your way, physically assault them. You can doubt me all you want, but just know I’ve been buying NUGT since $13.

What the fuck have you been doing?

Exactly.

I spotted a small gold coin on the ground. I ran past an old lady and knocked over a gold bug dude as I dove for the coin. Success was mine!

PS owners of crypto can receive interest for lending their coin.
    Annualized rates:
    BNB 15%
    USDT 10%
    BTC 6.2%
Terms vary. The BNB rate is a teaser rate as Binance is just now entering the space. It will be interesting to see what it drops to in the future.
At Binance it appears they change the rate every 2 weeks. Blockfi looks like a 1 month term.

Congrats are in order for our agency’s success!
It appears they are close to achieving their long term goal:

Gold is for amatuers. Look at a chart: gold alwasy collapses.

Bonds once again setting the premarket pace. You don’t have to short, but don’t buy the dip.

I will try to deposit my substantial amateur gold winnings, in terms of $USD, in the banks and see if they take my amateur winnings.

I’ll just say this: every now and then, some company or another will ahve a “paper trading” contest. Because the time period is only a few weeks, the only way to win is to make risky plays and get lucky.

I don’t see any issues with trading gold for short term gains, but unless the FED is in danger of collapsing, how can gold be a hedge in a low-inflation environment? What are the fundamentals here?

As a reminder, the FED basically said that they would buy my long-term bonds (MEP) from me once a recession hit.

Anyway, I think I’ve said my peace on Gold vs Bonds, so unless someoen else has something to add, I’m not going to beat this dead horse any longer,

Is it really a low inflation environment? Sure gas and oil haven’t gone up much but they no longer include that in inflationary measures unless it’s to their advantage.

However, food, healthcare, education, labor costs, material costs, travel costs, movie tickets, restaurants prices, sporting costs — golf, tennis, skiing, boating, fishing gear, etc etc., cable/phone costs… etc

NOT a low inflationary environment. Here’s an example of how they get away with quoting low inflation numbers. Hebrew National hot dogs have always come 7 to a package. Not anymore. Now it’s 6. Fuck them.

            Front page News Release headline

“CPI for all items rises 0.3% in July as ***gasoline,*** shelter indexes increase ”

Restaurant prices are going down or staying steady. Beef spiked ~10 years ago, but has been stable sicne. Chicken is still cheap.

Apparel prices actually drop Y2Y, as do prices on electronics. Flat Screen TVs prices have been cut in half from 10 years ago. Laptops are cheap, too. Phones about the same.

            Car prices haven’t moved much.

Labor costs have not risen much ata ll – that’s the probelm as well as the reason infaltion isn’t higher.

This is the 4th staright day of an elevated VIX. It is going to have to break one way or another and set the next trend. This means that we ill likely see a 3% day soon.

I am not sure what kind of news would lead to a 3% *up* day, so you can guess which way myself and my fellow bond buddies are betting the market will be headed.

If you tell me waht will ahppen i nthe future, then I can predict a direction.

I did say that I expect a 3% day soon, which based on its rarity is quite a bold call.
