You Made a Big Fucking Mistake Taking the Summer Off

Every year come June I get this email in my email box.

“Hey Fly, love Exodus and I really love the Pelican Room, but I need to fuck off because we’re going away and I won’t be trading much. I’ll come back after September.”

Then the markets proceeds to rip faces off to the upside and by July you’re panicking to FOMO and be graced with the picks of the indomitable Fly.

Only billionaire hedge fund managers take the summer off. Those of us in the stock game work hard to keep fresh and relevant, on top of the most recent trends. If you’re taking months off to chill out and act like a fucking degenerate, by the time you come back — you’ll be a dinosaur. Zero fucking days off, ever. My Father in Law had two brain surgeries the past 10 months, everyone is living with me, personal chef, driver — the whole nine yards. We sold the house, trees falling all over the fucking place, totally and complete disaster with my big ass Benz. Fucking cursed.

ZERO DAYS OFF. You see me here every fucking day blogging like the fucking wind — talking stock. Go back in my archives, all the way back to 2007. ZERO FUCKING DAYS OFF. No matter how much money I was making, I never took my eye off the ball. This is your fucking job, not just an avocation. You want to suck, go ahead and suck a bag of dicks in Newport for the summer. If you want to dominate — show up and try each and every day.

Taking the summer off is for pussies and billionaire hedge fund managers, who also happen to be pussies too.
