Assuming $7 commisions and equal postions for each trade, here is how three fictional accounts would have fared:
$2k bankroll, $250 position size: -$116, -5.8%
$10k bankroll, $500 trade size: +$63, +0.62% (a loss without OSTK)
$50k bankroll, $2500 position size: +$1486, + 2.97%
no commisions +3.56%
Note that this was a **winning streak** 17/21: How does a Losing streak affect this? Non-Exodus subs will never know.
Also factor in that 1/3 of the profit came from a day trade in which the stock (OSTK) rose 25%. And if you think that is anything but pure, blind luck, take a look at a 3-year chart of OSTK.
My purpose is not to bust on Exodus, but to simply show how hard it is to for traders – particularly those with small bankrolls to make a profit.
