Talking heads are now pounding the table for ‘global recession’ thanks to trade wars.
Pray tell me, where does one place the market at the trough of said trade war? Just 5% off the highs? I think not.

Why Why Why is NOBODY talking about the biggest risk to the market in US News. Brexit is going out with a No Deal at the end of October at the same time that Super Mario D from the ECB steps down. China needs a slow down…it wants a slow down…there is no deal there either. Why is anyone a Bull? T/A’s and Fundamentals are not going to work in this huge huge huge global bubble mess.

There’s four things that iBankcoin provided as I see it:
(1) Actual stock picks with a limited (a few hours) delay and
(2) Entertainment value
(3) Market commentary
(4) A place for other investors to post
You are ditching (1), (3) is available in other many other places (and has reduced value without stock picks to match), and the traffic (outside Exodus) makes (4) less appealing than it was a year ago. I’m not sure if (2) is enough, but we’ll see if investors “Go away in may (june)”. I wish you luck either way.
I beg to differ with you Numbersgame. If you know direction of the market, Actual Stock Picks are easy. If we are in the Central Bank/China will fix the world…then the “whores” that the market always love will be the place to sit in. If this is the top of the bubble and finally popping…then even Gold is not safe. Heck even Yen could be at risk because BoJ holds so much equity. As someone told me in 2008, you don’t want to trade in a hurricane.
I do agree with you that picking stocks is much easier if you know the market direction. However, even Fly is guilty of doing 180s, so without skin in the game (ie, actaul stock picks), his commentary becomes less significant.
How hard is it to say stocks are going to rally 1 day and then say they are goign to crash the next? At least with his picks behind that, he distinguishes himself from the cable news guys who are alwasy predicting the present.
Basically, his picks add **conviction** to his commentary, ie “put your money where your mouth is”
Personally I come here for the entertainment! No other site has content like this. Fly is hilarious. I do miss Option Addict though.
