Probably not a welcome comment, but President O’bama was handed one of the worse situations in the history of our nation and handled it all with a Grace and intelligence that makes me proud we elected him twice.He had the right advisors and he was a great listener and decision maker. “Stuff” way more critical than tariffs with the Chinese; and I resent Charlie Munger’s recent comments on immigration. He’s so old he can hardly flesh them out before needing Oxygen and a nap.
If ppl are so bent over tariffs then start a new industry for these goods that we import. What! Is that crickets I hear. How much friggin’ stuff do we need? There are competitors all over the world. Oh, what’s that? We may upset China. Yes we might. Yes it can become a Cold War. It’s a game of see-saw. Remember the kid who just jump off the see-saw when you were dangling in the air. Hard landing.
Maybe Trump can pull off the whole tariff thing to benefit the US. . If he does, he’d be doing his legacy a favor.He hasn’t done much else except preach intolerance for non WASPs. Although he seems to have a predilection for Eastern Europeans at least.
