NUCLEAR DETONATION REPORTED IN THE URANIUM STOCK SECTOR

An old favorite of mine, index member of my semi-annually managed GARP portfolio, UEC broke the fuck out today. I couldn’t find any particular news, other than Rick Perry saying nuclear energy was on the ‘front burner’ a few days ago and how UEC was added to the Russell 3000 — an utterly meaningless index.

I think this was all part of a broader sector rotation into beaten down Trump stocks in the basic materials space. These are the stocks that performed best after the election. Perhaps Wall Street is attempting to read the tea leaves into the strength of the Trump presidency, post special elections rout.

I even have an industry dedicated to uranium stocks. I have all the cool tools.
