Describe to Me What’s Going On Here, Trumpsters

You idiots, look what you’ve done. Not only did you elect a sociopath into office, you also elected a malleable piece of putty who is being kneaded by Gary Cohn and Jared Kusher 24 hours per day. We might’ve been better off with the very bad and evil Hillary Clinton. Granted, the degenerate left would’ve won and praised their criminal as she ascended into her Luciferian throne. But at least we wouldn’t need o read articles like this.

Gary Cohn is your President now, straight from the C level suite at Goldman Ballsachs. He literally said Trump was a moron and went to Europe to be schooled on global warming. Then he told the coal miners to fuck themselves. Goldman like natural gas more. Lastly, the Pope and France’s Macron are bitch slapping him every chance they get — forcing Trump to like windmills and renewable fuels.

THIS IS EMBARRASSING. MAKE IT STOP.

President Donald Trump views on climate change are “evolving” following discussions with European leaders who are pushing for him to stay in the Paris climate accord, a top White House official said Friday.

“He feels much more knowledgeable on the topic today,” said Gary Cohn, Trump’s top White House economic adviser. “He came here to learn, he came here to get smarter.”

European leaders have used Trump’s stops on the continent this week, including at the Group of 7 meeting in Sicily, to launch a last-ditch campaign for Trump to stay in the climate accord. Nearly 200 nations agreed to the 2015 pact aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

Cohn hinted at that prospect as he briefed reporters Thursday night as Air Force One flew from Brussels to Sicily, the final stop on Trump’s trip.

“The last levels we put out in the Paris agreement were levels that would be constraining to our economic growth,” Cohn said. “But then you get into the whole discussion on Paris, is it non-binding, is it not non-binding, can you change your levels, how easy is it to change your levels.”

In a striking comment given Trump’s support during the campaign for American coal miners, Cohn also said “coal doesn’t even really make that much sense anymore as a feedstock.” He singled out natural gas as “such a cleaner fuel” and also noted that the U.S. could become a “manufacturing powerhouse” by investing in wind and solar energy.

A senior French official said Macron and Trump spoke at length about the Paris agreement — at Macron’s behest — when they met for lunch Thursday. There was no “disagreement” over the accord itself, the official said, but there were “differences” about how to apply it.

Macron, the newly elected French president, was critical of Trump’s threats to pull out of the Paris deal during his own campaign. In a dig at Trump, he invited American climate scientists who felt alienated by the Republican administration to come to France to work.

Even Pope Francis, who has framed climate change as an urgent moral crisis and blamed global warming on an unfair, fossil fuel-based industrial model that harms the poor the most, appeared to be sending a message to Trump. Among the three documents the pope presented Trump as a gift was his 2015 encyclical on the need to protect the environment.

Bring on President Hatch already.

Interesting. Have we had a peaceful transfer of power from President Kushner to President Cohn now? This is confusing. I guess the presidential powers are always wielded by whoever the incompetent Trump is listening to and giving the reigns to, lately.

Interesting, Fly. Out of all the disastrous things Trump has done and will do, to screw over the very people who voted for him by slashing the social safety net, bankrupting us, and inviting crony capitalist corporations to gorge at the public trough–what you are worried about is that he recently decided he might not to completely destroy the environment in every way, during whatever time he has remaining in office?

You are certainly correct that we would be far better off in all ways with a President Hillary Clinton– although it is only your belief in Right Wing propaganda that makes you think she is Lucifer. She’s not perfect, but is far from being Lucifer.

Crooked Killery (of Seth Rich) is just the minion. She is not worthy even sniffing the Lucifer’s hoof let alone being perfect. What we have here is the usual Chabad-Lubavitch synagogue suspects (Kushner/Cohn/et al) running the presidency. Just another Sabbatarian-Frankist cabalistic day in the White House. Nothing to see here.

I pretty much agree with most of that post Froggy. The incompetent neocon tool we have in Trump vs the competent neocon tool we could have had with Hillary. But your read on what was the predominant propaganda is wrong. The propaganda was about 80% pro-Hillary throughout the campaign. You should consume some CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS NYT, WashPo and see what most of the country sees …turn off your Fox News, Alex Jones for gosh sakes!

Most Hillary coverage was negative, even in Wa Post, NYT. That’s one of the worst problems with Right Wing propaganda. So-called Left Wing MSM is full of it. Because they feel obligated to “cover both sides” even when one side is lies.

        https://www.vox.com/2016/4/15/11410160/hillary-clinton-media-bernie-sanders

        https://twitter.com/peterdaou/status/822625220020305920

Even MSNBC is moving to the Right.

        http://www.eurweb.com/2017/05/damn-damn-damn-msnbc-moving-to-the-right-abandoning-left-liberal-slant-report/

We are getting more immersed– not less– in Right Wing lies & propaganda.

And why not? The Mercers (Trump & Breitbart’s money bag people) and the Koch brothers and the rest of the .01% keep winning elections this way. One thing where Sacrilege has a point, is that media corporations are owned by very few people– and they are part of the .01%.

They convince people to vote against their best interests. And the crony capitalist welfare queen corporations rake in the dough, stomping on the 99.99% that voted for their Right Wing candidate every time– slashing their social safety net & deregulating the “right” to pollute air and water big time.

Now maybe they’ll even ff up the Internet so that it’s much slower & costs more.

You hope to breath polluted air, drink polluted water, pay far more for medical expenses & medical insurance, and deal with a slower and more expensive Internet? Well, it does look like you’re in luck then.

George Soros is 86, so you may be in luck there too.

You can’t be a crony capitalist welfare queen CEO, NotGekko, since you wouldn’t be hanging around here. Are you a trust fund baby, living off of relatives? Or what? Even then, you have to breathe air, drink water, and use the Internet.

Right Wing policies aren’t even in the best interests of the .01%. They still have to live on the earth and breathe and drink water and deal with floods, hurricanes etc. too. Oh, I know, they think they’re moving to Mars. But I don’t think so.

This is not fake news, but it also doesn’t claim Trump is going to DO anything about environmental concerns. So far he’s made it far easier for polluters to destroy the air and water. So he may continue along those lines.

Even if these aren’t empty words from Cohn, and they may well be– by the time any more legislation comes around that would affect the environment, the idiot Attention Deficit Disordered and brain damaged Trump will be listening to someone else. Whoever that will be, will hold the reigns then.

How amazing that so many people think that a billionaire can’t have brain damage, get Alzheimer’s Disease, have Attention Deficit Disorder etc. Something is obviously wrong with his brain. Trump is incapable of doing the job of president. So whoever his attention lights upon, at any particular moment, ends up doing the job.

As we approach Memorial Day and honor the men who have suffered in war, we should remember the real victims:

“Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.”
    – Hillary Clinton

She’s not perfect & I don’t agree with her on this. Although she may have a point, in that the people who are left behind are the ones suffering. For the dead, their suffering is over. However, I’d guess that those suffering long term or permanently injuries are the primary victims of war.

The dead as a result of war also should include the Americans blown up, by terrorists who blow up people for revenge against America for all the pointless wars we get involved in, and weapons we sell, in the Middle East. Our actions result in Middle Easterners’ families and friends being injured or killed. It’s like we’re creating advertisements for terrorist recruitment– giving them a reason to join up– to avenge the deaths of their countrymen.

According to wikipedia, your “actual climate scientist”, Patrick Moore, is now “a paid spokesman for the nuclear industry, the logging industry, and genetic engineering industry.”

Guess he got tired of the truth and decided that making big bucks was more important.

There is plenty of Right Wing policy propaganda on You Tube, in the media etc. than any other kind. And why not? The oil, gas, nuclear industry, logging industry, and genetic engineering industries can well afford to pay for the lies & propaganda, since it causes them to win elections. Then they can get a big fat ROI, when their elected officials de-regulate their “right” to pollute the air, water, food etc.– just like Trump’s EPA head is doing now.

They should now call the EPA the Environmental Pollution Agency.

The Associated Press publishes fiction, not news. As John Redwood wrote of a recent interview on Brexit: “The BBC wants to change the news, not report it.” This an example of the AP doing the same.

Redwood is a British Right Wing politician. So when newspapers don’t tell the lies that the Right Wing wants them to tell, Right Wingers shout “fake news.”

Just like Trump. “Fake news’ to him means anything that makes him look bad, even if it is easily verifiable by videotapes of what he himself said.

However, if Cohn’s statements were more than empty words, then Trump would have replaces his environment-destruction head of EPA with someone environmentally friendly. Which Trump has not done. So, so far, this does appear to be empty words.

You do understand my point, that this is merely a fictional account by the AP in an attempt to change the news, not report it, no doubt hoping that the downstream news agencies will become echo chambers for this fictional account.

Motto published on the AP’s website (ap.org):

        “Where Stories Begin”

In case you didn’t notice, the intention was to create the false narrative that Trump is changing his views on Climate Change/Global Warming or whatever the latest term may be.

Just as Redwood described the BBC, the AP has attempted to change the news rather than report it by luring out any information from anyone, no matter how distant from the issue (Gary Cohn, anonymous French sources (a Chef maybe) or Pope Francis for God’s sake) to construct the false narrative that “President Donald Trump views on climate change are ‘evolving’”. Yeah, right.

As expected, today we get confirmation that this is a false account by way of the following truth:

“The whole discussion about climate has been difficult, or rather very unsatisfactory” German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters Saturday. “Here we have the situation that six members, or even seven if you want to add the EU, stand against one. That means there are no signals until now whether the U.S. will remain in the Paris Agreement or not. We have therefore not talked around it but made clear that we the six member states and the EU remain committed to the goals of the agreement.”

Trump is against the climate change/global warming project and so are the people who put him in office. I see no evidence that this position has changed, at all, in any of these reports.
