Wall Street’s Initial Reaction to More Obamacare

There’s bound to be some winners in light of this failure. Repealing Obamacare was a major tenet in the Trump agenda. Ergo, Wall Street had been pricing it in since election night.

Let’s have a look at some stocks that outperformed today — in order to build a list of potential buys on these developments.

$CYH
$BPMC
$AAOI
$ACHC
$CNC
$TGTX
$EVH

Part of the problem with buying the above names is that they’ve already risen by extreme amounts since the New Year. It’s almost as if Wall Street had anticipated this failure.

Here are some laggards over the past 6 months which rose today off the healthcare news.

$DXCM (diabetes, think poor people on Obamacare)
$HURN
$KND
$THC
$ELGX
$ALDR
$FPRX
$BNFT
$MOH
$OPK
$NVCR
$AKRX

Some notable ETFs include $IYH, $BIB, $IBB, $XLV, $VHT

Moosh… just watch the narrative change in the coming weeks as storage numbers begin to draw down. The refiners are getting out of maintenance mode and will be refining gasoline for the upcoming driving season. With gas relatively cheap my guess is that there will be a record number of miles driven by people this year. Also should Trump get the nation back to work there is more demand pull coming down the the pipe.

Supply push is to yield to a demand pull in both crude and natty gas in the next little while.

Thanks for the info anjiing, I’ll check it out.
I was poorly attempting to make a way back in the day type of hedge analogy which eventually led to way lower prices in free markets.

It has been a grim week for owners in the Middle East Gulf. Depending on the requirements of the charterer and the type of ship that they are able to fix, owners have been staring down the barrel with WS 42 agreed to Taiwan on a 2007 built ship ex drydock, while another run to Taiwan went on Athenian tonnage at WS 45, all basis 270,000 tonnes. Earlier in the week, a GS Caltex relet agreed WS 49.5 to Thailand and a subsequent further trip also for Thailand went on a 2001 built vessel, again basis 270,000 tonnes cargo at WS 45. Long east rates are assessed at between WS 45 and WS 47.5 basis 270,000 tonnes with plenty of tonnage around, rates remain under renewed downward pressure. It is a similar story going west with rates for 280,000 tonnes cape/cape at WS 25 to US Gulf.

Shipping rates from the Persian gulf to GOM have cratered ( likewise they have dropped significantly for the far east runs as well). It takes ~65 days to move from Persian gulf to GOM (VLCC) so the last of the ships that were loaded as OPEC announced its cuts will now start to show up in the US stockpiles. The ladders in cushing out to start to getting steeper LOL as stockpiles will start to be drawn against.

Remember when the ‘pubs first move was to try and get rid of ethics rules and the people were all like Fuck That!

This is why I love America. Even with the greasiest grease cutter / catalist Trump America still keeps on keeping on.

It’s us versus them now dog. Again and again and again..

You could say “Fucker Carlson” won the election and The Fly would have an epic orgasm induced by a BJ from zerofakenewsnow.

Are you going to live your entire life waking up in the morning thinking what type of lie you have to tell today to cover the one you told the other day that covered the one you told last week?

The big loser here is clearly Trump, stop with the denial and rationalization you Trumpturds. This was the most promised deal of the election coming from the self-proclaimed greatest deal maker himself. Epic fail.

Do you think all the deals a deal maker pursues come to fruition? Of course not. Deal makers stay alive by knowing when to walk away. You all are so eager for proof Donald will fail, yet he has won far more than any of you. Fools mock.

Donald Trumps real estate investments have underperformed most REITs and the DOW/SPY

As a human being… he failed decades ago. If your child was left on a desert island to be raised by Donald Trump and that does not worry you, you are a failure as a human being also.

Still has not done a single thing as president. Apparently we killed 200 civilians in Iraq yesterday… by accident. His new political career is shit.

No reason to bet on this horse.

You make no real arguments. Just your opinions. And throw an insult in there with it. You’re a poster child for the hypocritical left.

Obamacare makes as much sense as an insurance company that allows you to insure your house for it’s full value after it burns down. That’s essentially the current business model, brought to by the people who passed it to find out what’s in it.

Healthcare is a con. Always has been. That being obvious to all but the doctors and assorted thieves in on it. Now. Go get insured for a fucking car crash.

I work amidst a legion of middle age lumbering wide bodies. This diabetes shit is for real…..and these people are relying solely on meds. Donuts, candy bars and sugared soda pops are still regular fare, and sometimes SOUGHT OUT when they perceive blood sugar to have dropped too low after taking diabetes medication.

On a side note, I read recently that a doctor in the early 1900’s ran a clinic where he successfully treated people’s sugar diabetes with a regimen of black coffee and whiskey administered every two hours. Dr. Fly – you would have been in heaven as a diabetic back then! Hanging out at The Knick, drinking black coffee and booze while gazing down upon the surgery theatre…. https://tinyurl.com/m65ubt8

A small sacrifice (I would think). Interestingly enough, distilled spirits on their own don’t induce an insulin response. Dr. Fly has been on the right track in regards to guiding the iBC readers away from the crafted beers.
