Somebody needs to step up and make a difference in the gun carnage in Black America.
I work at a inner-city hospital with many Blacks who say they have had it with the burglary, car theft, shootings and are moving to away from it all to parts of town that they feel safe.
They want someone to step in and fix this violence.
That would be good. But it is easier said than done, for sure.
I just went with friends on a hike, at a trail that is a short drive from my house, this a.m. When we returned from the hike, they found that their car had been broken into and stuff stolen. I live in a rural area with low crime, so that surprised us all.
Crime can happen anywhere, but inner cities are often full of crime.

That’s nice, a report on how to prevent crime written by a bunch of professors. “Because the specific methods for preventing crime in areas of concentrated poverty are not well-developed and tested, the Congress can make most effective use of DOJ local assistance funding by providing better guidance about what works.” In other words, they haven’t a fucking clue.
Did you listen to what the _man_ in the video was saying? This is what we need more of – reaching out to the positive leaders in the struggling communities. There are plenty of them but they haven’t been given the support they need, and they need a hell of a lot of it. 0bama sided with the crooked leaders.
The problems can only be fixed from within. The leaders are there but they need support.
