True story. After the election in 2012 a friend and I, neither of which are affiliated with either political party, were discussing the outcome of that election and we each came to the realization that the country which we grew up in was now lost forever. The last hope of stopping the decay was, on that election night in 2012, gone forever. On that day it would become far too late to ever again turn the country around, at least in our opinion. Sure many may have voted for Trump hoping for a resulting new renaissance but look around you at what is happening right now in the U.S post election. Essentially the country that we grew up in would eventually become just a few paragraphs or perhaps a whole chapter in a history book. Then again since many colleges no longer even cover American History, in time who cares, no one will see the goddamn chapter anyway. So as our fathers and uncles who fought in WW2 to keep our freedoms, who understood the value of work & wished to retain our greatness are now most likely spinning in their graves (I guess there’s a reason they are called the “greatest generation”). The rest of us can now just sit back and watch the end result.
