TRUMP DUMPS ON TIME WARNER-AT&T DEAL: ‘DEALS LIKE THIS DESTROY DEMOCRACY’

Trump said he would block this deal because it’s anti-competitive. Moreover, he went after Amazon and their Washington Post connections.

“Deals like this destroy democracy”, said Trump as his magnificiently spoke to the people from Gettysburg, PA.

This might prove to be somewhat of a barometer, a betting pool of sorts, for the Presidential election. In other words, if Clinton gets elected, TWX shoots to $105-110. If Trump gets elected, TWX noses dives to $80.

Place your bets, fucked faces.

I imagine many who work for these companies would prefer that there is no deal, especially the TW employees. More Trump voters.

Time Warner Cable is the worst piece of shit on the market. They jam commercials
at you six at a time, often interrupting the programs, and overlapping each other.
Tbeir stupid advertisers apparently never heard of the benefits of a “pregnant pause”.

The TWC dumfuks charge me $99.95 a month for shitty cable, 90% of the channels
being informercials. And the DVD won’t record even though I am billed for it.

ATT on the other hand is an honest, reputable company. Why they want to go
into the sewer with TWC is beyond me. Trump is right on this one!

Ummm, TWC was bought by Charter in a shady 50%cash/50%stick deal. ATT is trying to acquire TWX from which TWC had been spun off.

If the owners of capital wish to combine their capital in order to acquire capital, it is simply capitalism functioning as designed. Trump might be right, but he’d have to admit free markets are wrong and detrimental to the democratic process and well being of the entire population as a whole. He would also have to admit the government has a role as a regulator in these affairs…

Wash Post has become a click bait site since Bezos took over, stories that are hyped on race or other controversies.
Verizon buys Yahoo? Who uses Yahoo for anything.
Now AT&T wants Cartoon network, TNT, HBO

Disney found out how little you can squeeze out of ABC, ESPN and more.
These stocks will flatline the next year or longer.
    No interest in this space.
Indexes have peaked for the short run, 2017 the year of waiting for dips.
