Trump: ‘I’d Never Withdraw. I’ve Never Withdrawn in My Life’

The outrage is almost too much to bear. The ‘I told you so’ people are out in force and numbers today, rightfully so. Everyone wants to be a winner. Politics is no different.

Trump has only himself to blame, chatting it up with a member of the Bush crime family about unsavory topics that should never come out of the mouth of a grown man. Like I said, its indefensible.

Now a sundry of republicans and GOP supporters are calling for Trump to withdraw. Why? That’s patently ridiculous and undemocratic. Let him fall on his sword and give people an opportunity to vote their conscience.

If your goal is to protect corrupt republicans in their reelection bids by having Trump drop out, I’d say your righteous indignation is woefully misplaced. Get them out. All of them.

Back to Trump. In a Washington Post interview today, the Donald said  he’d never drop out and will continue to press on.

source: WASHPO

“I’d never withdraw. I’ve never withdrawn in my life,” Trump told the Washington Post in a phone call from his home in Trump Tower in New York. “No, I’m not quitting this race. I have tremendous support.”

“People are calling and saying, ‘Don’t even think about doing anything else but running,” Trump said when asked about GOP defections. “You have to see what’s going on. The real story is that people have no idea the support. I don’t know how that’s going to boil down but people have no idea the support.

“Running against her,” Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, makes keeping the party behind him easier, Trump added.

“It’s because she’s so bad. She’s so flawed as a candidate. Running against her, I can’t say it’d be the same if I ran against someone else, but running against her makes it a lot easier, that’s for sure.”

Trump acknowledged that the video has consumed the presidential race — “it certainly has” — but he said he has endured past controversies, not only during his 2016 bid but during his career.

“I’ve been here before, I’ll tell ya, in life,” Trump said. “I understand life and how you make it through. You go through things. I’ve been through many. It’s called life. And it’s always interesting.”

Trump said “thousands and thousands” of backers have sent him letters and emails since the Post’s story was published. “You have no idea what it’s like,” he said. “So many people.”

Trump pointed to his disparagement of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) during the early months of last year’s Republican primary campaign as an example of how he has weathered political storms.

“Everyone said, ‘It’s over, it’s over.’ The people didn’t say that but the reporters said that,” Trump said. When asked to explain his ability in the past to survive, Trump said it’s because “I’m change.”

Reflecting on his state of mind as he watched news coverage from his apartment, Trump said, “I’m holding up well. I’m holding up well.”

Trump said he may make a speech or remarks on Saturday evening, perhaps in a suburb of New York City, as a way of encouraging his supporters.

“That’s what I’m thinking about,” he said. “We’ll see.”

Trump insisted, again, that any possible speech would not be a departure from the race.

“Forget that,” Trump said dismissively of the suggestion. “That’s not my deal.”

While everyone is nonplussed over the contents of Trump’s remarks, one has to wonder how this tape was acquired in the first place — especially since the host of the show was none other than Billy Bush.

Neocons gonna con.

What a ridiculous stretch of logic trying to connect this to the Bush family and neoconservative movement at large.

How do you know it wasn’t Nancy O’dell, who was Billy Bush’s co-host at the time, and who it turns out Drumpf tried to fire after she rejected his advances?

How do you know it wasn’t any number of the litany of people he has offended or treated poorly in some way over the years?

Because the Bush’s have publicly disparaged Trump and support Hillary. Don’t be so outraged. I’m just playing the odds. My money is on this being coordinated between Bush and Clinton. How could you deny otherwise?

As for neocon charge, every President since Reagan has been a neocon. I don’t have time to explain. Learn about your countries wars.

I can’t deny the possibility. But it seems a low probability play considering at this point the GOP had by and large coelesced around his candidacy and he was competitive in the polls.

I don’t think it was the GOP or the Bush’s. I think his stupid mouth just finally caught up with him.

The GOP hates on Trump every chance they can in order to survive their shitty existence. Trump has a stupid mouth and is learning the implications. So what. Actions are the issue here.

No staunch Trump supporter will let this sway their vote for him. He still has a damn good chance. I thought Romney had it wrapped up in 2012. Obama had even considered buying a house in Hawaii. Surprise Barry, you won! Might be just the same this time.

I don’t expect this topic to be discussed at the debate tomorrow night unless Trump brings it up.

Whatever mileage Hillary gets out of this is baked in already. Only downside now if it comes up for discussion which will open the door for Trump to hit her about her’s and Bill’s history.

So it goes. He dropped his guard for a few minutes thinking he was outside of the public eye, back when he had no idea he would someday run for public office. It’s almost unfair.

Exactly. If you’re an alpha you get how Trump can say shit like that. We’ve all done it–at least those who have not succumbed to the pussification of the American male by the politically correct women’s groups. Attractive women want attention and expect to be hit on. If you don’t do that for them you’re not the take charge kind of guy they want. Period.

Bill isn’t running for president. Democrats don’t know how to play hardball? Really?

So it would be OK for some 60-year-old man to grab your daughter and start kissing her or grab her tits or ass? You fuckin’ kidding me? He would be counting his teeth on Trump Plaza if he did that to my daughter. I’m sure most father’s would do the same.

I dont care that much about what he said, I care about what he DID and then bragged about.

Don’t care about it came to light anymore than I care how the Podesta emails came to light.

Maybe Putin released the tape of Trump.

If a conservative screws up, it is owned and apologized for. All the conservatives will condemn the screw up. If a liberal screws up, then they lie about, cover it up, and pretend it didn’t happen. All the liberals will deny it happen or pretend it wasn’t important. Like Bill Clinton raping women or Hillary arming ISIS and destroying Syria. I am sensing a double standard.

When the world learns how small Trump’s penis really is, that will be the end of him. And I think it’s only a matter of time before it does.

This issue will put Trump over the top. Look at all the other philanderers who made it to the top and were great Presidents.

    George Washington
    Thomas Jefferson
    Dwight Eisenhower
    JFK
    LBJ
    Bill Clinton

not to mention half of Congress and half the marriages in the USA

The issue continues to be the ministry of propaganda and their vassals in the media. Make a mountain out of a mole hill with Trump and back-page and smother all Hillary’s crimes against humanity, democracy and right.

Agree that Bill Clinton was a great president. Just another reason to vote for HRC rather than the one who wants to grab your daughter’s crotch.

The election is over. America will remain great.
