I’ve done these polls for the past year and the results have always been around 70% in favor of Trump. I’d be interested to see how the events of recent days affected the results.

McCain came out right away and said he could no longer vote for Trump. Man, that guy can surrender at the drop of a hat.

I just can’t see how any women will vote for Trump. Females don’t let something like that go, and wirh the one other candidate being female, their vote is set in stone. Trump is done.

It’s bizarre the number of people on this blog that can’t tell the difference between a campaign-ender like the Trump audio, and a run of the mill scandal that will blow over in a week. It’s not even so much the female vote. There are plenty of fathers and sons that are appalled across party lines. Trump winning in the midst of what looks to be a Republican civil war? Not happening.
I’m interested in seeing if the Republican party could recover from this with a new candidate this late in the game. Has that ever been done? I could see a very charismatic Reaganesque father figure oozing presidential demeanor giving Hillary a run for her money even now. Probably not going to happen because Trump will not get out of the way, but you never know.
