Bill Clinton Rips Obamacare: ‘It’s the Craziest Thing in the World’

This is low, even for Bill. It’s caused by hubris. By violently rebuking Obamacare in this manner means the Clinton’s don’t need or want Obama’s help. Moreover, I think it speaks volumes as to their hatred for Obama, going after the poor Manchurian candidates signature legacy building piece of legislation like this. So shameful and also refreshingly truthful. Bill is a master politician, in addition to being a well versed rapist, apparently.

SHOTS FIRED.

And this is before the announcement this week that Minnesota’s are going up by over 50%.

Program could have been improved and will be but Republicans didn’t want assist Obama in any way. Can’t have a country where millions and millions of people don’t have healthcare.

Obamacare was a good idea with a government execution, which equals a terrible initiative over all.

I recently got sick and now have10k in bills. Besides skyrocketing premiums, what used to be covered by blue cross 100% is now 5k deductible and then 80 percent or whatever. Out of principle, I am not paying one fucking medical bill. Fuck everyone

Wolfdaddy- a suggestion: call your provider accounting or business people right away and tell them you cannot afford to pay the portion of their invoice that is not paid by your insurance.

See what they say. I think a conversation with them is better than doing nothing.

Or.. send each of them a letter telling them you cannot afford to pay the full amount, and offer to pay another amount. This should be an amount you would pay.

The tone should be informational, not a negotiation.

I represented numerous hospitals back in the day.
I used to sue insurance companies for them on assignments of benefits.
Demand an audit and if the itemized bill is large enough expect a 15% or so decrease and then offer them a cash now lump sum with the understanding the balance is written off and get a letter saying balance is zero.
Then in 6 months make sure your credit report is clean.

The Health Care system needs to be either a Human Right (where everyone gets it, creating numerous problems) or a Profit Center (where the market dictates who gets treated, creating numerous other problems.)

This halfway-in-the-middle we have today has problems of both, where profit is being sacrificed to provide health care to the most people possible. Our business saw 30-40% increases annually well before Obamacare. Why? Because our employees needed health care. We used it. Insurance premiums are only good when you don’t use the healthcare you have the premiums for.

Mandating that doctors digitize their records, and report directly to the government, along with mandatory participation of the citizens in the healthcare system is going to ultimately lead one day to a created pandemic…and a vaccine administered by force. Once the government has this ability, they’ll be able to pump any kind of fluid into the population they desire. Dumb-down juice, engineered disease, or an outright culling of the herd. It’s all coming into place.

Blame Max Baucus, the piece of shit shill for private medical insurance.
And the bigger turds – Congress, who opposed a public option.

We need “Medicare for all” implemented a decade at a time, starting
with the 55-65 year old age cohort and financed by a 5% income tax
SURCHARGE on ALL income of ALL USA filers.

I’d love the public option or Medicare for All, but the pricing models aren’t sustainable when everyone has their hand in the jar.

Drug approvals need to be shortened dramatically to drive down manufacturer’s costs, and we need to shorten the life of patents on these drugs so generics can be made faster. Doctor’s liability insurance premiums need to be subsidized by the federal government so there fixed costs are daramatically lower. Doctor’s need to make dramatically less, or go to a tele-medicine model across the country. Universities need to make med school a lot shorter, and a lot cheaper, so docs don’t go into their practice up to the eyeballs in debt and asking for $750,000 salaries coming out. Everyone has to share.

I can’t even imagine how to curb emergency room visit costs, specialists and robotics…

A $10 co-pay on all visits and services. And Medicare pricing is pretty good.
Allow ZERO payments to providers beyond Medicare-approved.

        I like your other ideas.

All we need to is cut down the war profiteering machine where billions go missing from defense budget, and we could tackled this and few other problems. No one ever talks about it anywhere.

on top of that, common folks don’t realize that they are subsidizing plan costs for the politicians. So no one read the bill, it got voted in since the plan is so great, premium went up for regular folks, yet we are subsidizing plan costs for the politicians and they don’t pay the full price.

I guess this is what happens when you don’t read it? Nancy Pelosi did say we’ll find out when it’s enacted or something to that effect. Well now we know. Who reads the manual anyway?
