Trump Responds to Ford’s Move to Mexico

Yesterday Ford announced they were moving all small car production to Mexico, in order to take advantage of their slaver wages down there. Plus, unions are a hassle to deal with here.

Naturally, with Mexico being directly in the cross hairs of Trump, he took this opportunity to menace Ford and tell people that this sort of shit wouldn’t be happening under a Trump administration.

“We shouldn’t allow it to happen,” Trump said during a speech in Michigan, the center of U.S. car production.

“They’ll make their cars, they’ll employ thousands and thousands of people not from this country and they’ll sell the cars right through our border. No tax, no nothing, and we’ll have nothing but more unemployment in Flint and in Michigan,” he said in the speech in Flint.

“It used to be cars were made in Flint and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico,” he said. “Now the cars are made in Mexico, and you can’t drink the water in Flint. That’s not good.”

Ford is trying to survive in a corrupt system. If trump wins ford will not be forced to move to mexico tobe solvent in low priced car market. Ford is an angel compared to 90% of other corps. Ford is the foundation of american capitalism.

Ford is likely trying to help Trump with this announcement.

Announcements are announcements. Actually moving everything takes time… much longer than the two months left until Nov 8.

I can’t imagine there is no political calculus involved in this announcement.

Roundego… You aren’t being serious, are you?

Trump can’t fix something that cannot be fixed. This is just one example of what’s been going on since the 1970s. Companies will continue to send jobs overseas whether Trump becomes president or not.

Trump loves sound bytes, but there is absolutely no substance behind what he’s saying. How about he says what he’s going to do to prevent Ford and others from moving manufacturing overseas? And how is he going to help Americans pay for goods and services that are extremely high priced because they are being made by people on a $15 minimum wage?

Ford NETS 1.9b per quarter. That’s not surviving. That’s thriving.

I wouldn’t ordinarily object to corporations shipping jobs overseas, but they bring the outsourced products and sell them at full price to US citizens – the government should tax corporations, their CEOs and directors that are domiciled in the US, but ship jobs overseas. I happened to call Aetna customer service the other day and I got some Phillipino on the other end of the line.WTF? Meanwhile Aetna and other insurance companies are gouging US citizens.

Capitalism is great, but this shit has gone too far. Fuck Ford and all the motherfuckers who are only patriotic to their fucking personal wealth. If these CEOs like China, India, Mexico so much, they should go fucking live there. After Trump builds the wall, he should deport these assholes.

Does that mean you are in favor of moving American jobs to Mexico? If you disagree so much then I suppose you do.

Trump is clearly much more honest than Hillary, and after Obama this country is very thirsty for some honesty.

Trump will learn immediately after moving into the oval office who his new bosses are, and its not us. Hillary would be worse of course. To think a new talking head in the White House is going to change things at this stage is naive imo. Only time things will change is when we crash and burn, like the 1920s. It’s coming.

Agree to an extent. Though I think the damage done to the political elite just by way of having someone like Trump elected is a good start toward unraveling their entitlement.

Great line about the water, Lol. For what it’s worth, Mexico is building a wall on its southern border to keep Central and South Americans out.

America has been drinking the cool aid for a long time. It’s time to wake up patriots, your country has been hijacked by the globalists and crony capitalists. Our economy has been propped up to help them maintain their wealth and influence. At least that’s what I have been hearing, I’m beginning to think it’s true.
