Some astute long-view people say we’re actually just in a consolidation phase of a 16-year bear. We’re only up about 25-30 percent from 2000 boom levels. Depends on how far out you want to shrink the chart or what your selective bias is. I have no idea where to start, except for the point that I started putting money in!
same thing when they say “X number of days without a correction!” even if it hits 9.8 percent drop several times. Just people selling stuff.
