Portuguese-German bond spreads have widened, again, to 347bps, indicative of the eurozone not behaving as one. The last time it behaved like this, there was a euro currency crisis.
Speaking of the euro, it’s lower by 0.7% v the King Dollar.
Bitcoins are roaring higher, now up nearly 6%.
Copper has been crushed, down 2.6%.
Gold is soaring higher, +1.6% and oil is off by 1.5%.
The biggest story is the yen, up an astounding 1.6% to 104.30 v the dollar.
All of these things point to an onerous day on Wall.
Nasdaq futs are off by 21.
