This is the second software deal in as many days, both taking place in the mid cap sector. Salesforce must really want Demandware, buying them out at a massive premium for $2.8 billion.
The negotiations probably went something like this.
‘We like your company. We’ll buy it at the all time high, all cash.,
‘Okay.’
