China’s Foreign Ministry Touts Brotherly Love With African Nations Following the Most Racist Detergent Ad Ever Made

What the fuck were the creators of this ad thinking?
My head is spinning too much from last night to properly rip this to shreds.

“We express our sincere apologies and sincerely hope that the many internet users and the media will not read too much into this,” Shanghai Leishang Cosmetics, the company that owns the Qiaobi brand, said in a statement at the weekend.

“Everyone can see that we are consistent in equality toward, and mutually respect, all countries, no matter their ethnicity or race. In fact, we are good brothers with African countries,” Hua told a daily news briefing.

Government officials often insist that China enjoys largely harmonious ethnic relations, though tension has led to violence, particularly in its western regions of Tibet and Xinjiang, which have large minority populations.

The Global Times, a popular tabloid known for a nationalistic bent, said in an editorial Western media coverage was “too extreme” and China had no problems with discrimination.
“There have been many evils during the development of the West in this era, and racism is one of them,” the paper said. “China’s social process hasn’t been the same experience, so using the same yardstick to measure China’s performance will lead to results that are inevitably absurd.”

More firepower for the Trump campaign. Hillary Clinton is a racist for supporting free trade with Chinese brands.

The obvious differentiation between the two males is what humans call racial features and erroneously stereo-typified behavior. What if the female were what Americans would racially refer to as “African” and the male was stuffed into the washer a Hutu and came out a Tutsi; very insulting to Hutu and Tutsi, I would imagine. Many a German would be outrageously insulted if stuffed into the washer only to come out “clean” and more attractive as an Irishman or Pole.

It’s glorifying STEM you know. Too much is missing from global life experiences and curricula. Everyone is so afraid that white people are disappearing. Every few years a false meme comes out on the internet, logically scientific, declaring that blue eyes are becoming an extinct human feature. God damn this scares people who like blue eyes.

I’m curious. Are you referring to me? Can you elaborate? Are you capable of elaborating in writing? If not, that’s all right; I try not to be judgmental and you may have other fine qualities. Many great artists and scientists are also inflamed hemorrhoids.

A few years ago, I somehow managed to turn off the marketing/ad switch in my brains. Commercial peeps use more twisted tactics than just fear, but that is the go to across all boards.

Not too surprising from a country where people do not have the right to free speech or to criticize the government. We just have to hope China can become more aware of social justice and human rights issues, and start to act better with regard to those, in the future.

What if China is trying to become the next superpower of the world and is doing just enough to not give two shits about social injustice and human rights?

Unfortunately you can’t make everyone a great Humanitarian in short order. That is, unless really ugly, parasitic aliens from outer space, who want to feast on humankind, regardless of their skin color, religion, ethnicity, etc. move into town.

Say what you will about China; pollution, they eat dogs, etc. They are the last alpha country on Earth. The apology they gave is boilerplate, truly meaningless and insincere. I can just imagine the Chinese trying to give a shit about the uppity SJWs in America and laughing about it.

It’s a matter of the advertisers needing to have better judgment and more fairness– not to portray members of a racial group as inferior.

Lol, people analyzing this in a Western PC world. Guess what? The only reason the company is backpedaling is to avoid issues with African trade partners. China is currently a facist state in every sense of the word. They pretend they’re still commies but private businesses and government micromanagement is almost exactly what every facist government has been about. Unlike here, Chinese are taught China is the greatest nation. They couldn’t give a fuck less about Africa except for how they plan to take it over someday from the inside out. America would be in a much better position if the citizens tried to improve the country instead of making everyone “equal.”

Agreed. The U.S. and other western nations are all infected by self-hating wimps, identity politics, and liberal bullshit. If they focused on kicking ass and taking names like they used to, they could dominate the world forever. Instead, their power and influence are waning.

I read that the black community tried to organize a riot to protest this commercial, but when the time came, no-one showed up to the riot, because China doesn’t have black people.

Of course it’s racist, but if the man was white or Asian, no one would have a problem with it since it’s a woman doing it to a man. If, on the other hand a man did it to a woman, it would be considered sexist also.

    Gotta love the double standards.

That’s because nobody in their right mind thinks white males suffer from being treated as inferior on the basis of their gender.

OTOH, lower class people of both genders and various races often get screwed over economically, which is what Sanders and Trump are talking about.

It was far worse than I imagined.
