Facism in America: Freedom of Speech is Not For Everyone Anymore

I really can’t call these people liberals. I know liberals. I grew up a democrat, amongst liberals who fought for the middle class. So I don’t want to insult any liberal out there by lumping you in with these uneducated, barbarous, anarchists.

It is the right of all Americans to express their opinions. It is the right of all Americans to vote.

Shockingly, both of these traditions and rights are being attacked by these miscreants. These mindless drones, disgracingĀ themselves by parroting the former fascist regimes of South America and Europe, would have their heads cut off by the very people they seek to align themselves with. They are idiots of the first magnitude and it’s sickening to see free speech being denied by the same people, funded by the same sources, and the media not mentioning how awful these people are.

By themselves, the small group of people who are attracted to protests and rallies by the opportunity for hooliganism will have no measurable impact on freedom of speech or on voting. They don’t have any institutional backing, they aren’t attracting any support, and each appearance by such people will just warn law enforcement at the next rally location to be even better prepared.

My worry is that these hooligans might incite a skirmish that draws in a lot of people from both sides and results in a lot of injuries. Law enforcement would be wise to educate people in advance how best to react as a group to lawless and violent behavior.

That’s a good idea. The fewer people that get involved in this kind of thing, the better.

“Facism [sic] in America” is a nutty description for people who better fit the description of anarchists, but your first 2 paragraphs are ones I can agree with fully.

Fascism is nothing more than the practice of shutting down opposing viewpoints. That is what these morons are doing and attempting to do.

It’s disgusting that google, and other sites, define fascism as “right wing.” Fascism is not a political ideology and has been practised [extra British] more by left-wing political leaders than right wing.

Your definition of Fascism is way off, so I can see why you would equate it with liberal Brits.

Fascism is nothing more than the practice of shutting down opposing viewpoints.

“Shutting down opposing viewpoints” is a tactic, not an -ism. It is such a common practice that it can’t be used as either a defining or a distinguishing feature of any -ism.

    Fascism defined according to Merriam-Webster

    1. a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government

    2. very harsh control or authority

MW could use a better definition. An alliance with Corporatists is crucial.

It’s really too bad real people are going to get physically hurt over this otherwise hysterical piece of public theater. Around Christmas everyone will be shaking their heads and wondering what they got so worked up about. Queue “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

“Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle.”
    General George S. Patton

Americans need a leader to point them toward the right enemy. Too may misguided folks thinking cops, Wall Street finance, law-abiding immigrants, scientific research, passionate speech are the adversary and pose a threat.

The real enemy is that which depletes man’s soul: cruelty, promiscuity, selfish plunder of resources, laziness in thought, fear of the unknown.

“Oh, there has been technical advancement, but, how little man himself has changed”
Khan Noonien Singh, from Star Trek episode “Space Seed”
