I don’t even know where to start with this. The Federal Reserve is supposed to be an apolitical organization, whose sole purpose is to create chicanery within the economy to ferment opportunities for the banks to acquire valuable assets cheaply. In what could only be described as a brazen statement by Fed’s Brainard in showing her allegiance to the Hillary Clinton campaign, one has to imagine what a Donald Trump candidacy will do to the Fed and their cozy relationship with the democratic elite.
Trump is on record saying he wants to audit the Fed. He’s on record saying he doesn’t like what the Fed is doing. Therefore, and it goes without saying, the Fed is actively campaigning for the Clinton campaign, a bold step that has ruined the impartiality they’ve worked so hard to maintain.
What in the hell is going on here?

Same thing as always. If it’s inappropriate but a liberal “minority” (including women) member is doing it, it gets little to no mention in the media and is explained away.
If a Fed member who was a white male was on record as having maxed out donations to Trump, the media would be all over it.
Rinse and repeat.
See also crap like this. I’m not even that conservative, per se, but this kind of thing is just stupid. If felons voted 99% Republican, as opposed to 99% Democrat, and a Republican governor pulled this, it would be a huge deal. Instead, it will get barely any coverage and nothing will happen outside of, perhaps, an uncomfortable question or two just so the media can try to maintain some semblance of impartiality.
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/virginia-governor-enables-200-000-felons-vote-november-n560556
The “most trusted news source”, Faux News, bashes Obama and Hillary and other Democrats constantly about everything they say and do, whether it’s good or bad– they find a way to interpret it all as bad. iHeart radio, formerly Clear Channel, does the same, as do Right Wing Internet sites.
That was a nbcnews link for fuck sake. What is it with your incessant commenting on labeling opposing viewpoints of yours as being tied to one television channel and now, apparently, iHeartRadio. Whatever the fuck that is.
I was responding to gapfiller saying that Dems get away with bad behavior & it’s overlooked by the news. They don’t.

The lack of coverage, which you appear to attribute to media bias, is in your head. So, too, is your 99% number.
The Virginia Governor’s restoration of voting rights to ex-felons was widely covered:
https://www.google.com/search?q=virginia+restored+voting+rights+felons&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=virginia+restored+voting+rights+felons&safe=active&tbm=nws
Likewise, changes in other states, going in both directions, have been reported by most major news outlets. Some states have flopped back and forth several times as the party in the Governor’s office has changed.
Over the past couple decades, at least 20 states have changed the voting rights of ex-felons. The Constitution allows states to determine those rights for its residents. Most changes have been to increase voting rights. Only 3 states still permanently revoke the voting rights of ex-felons.
Studies of populations of ex-felons who have had voting rights restored confirm that they aren’t fond of the Republican party; about 55-60% register as Democrats versus a little over 10% registering as Republicans. To a large extent, that split is shaped by the demographics of ex felons. Compared to the overall population, ex felons are younger, poorer, disproportionately male, and disproportionately minority. That is a population subset that tends to have very low voter turnout, and the ex-felon portion of that group has voted at even lower rates.
Her last name is an imperfect fit.
Perfectly legal, and perfectly stupid.
Don’t you think it’s wonderful that a Fed member is being open and honest on their preference for president? Hillary has got to be happy with picking up a Fed endorsement.
So Curt Schilling posts his opinion on a hot topic and ESPN fires him for it but supposedly impartial officials can donate to candidates. Wow.
HA HA,
And you folks laughed when several months ago I said Janet Yellen knew that if the stock market did not rally back it would hurt Hillary Clinton and Yellen would not hit the brakes.
Brainard is not Yellen, but it tells you the Fed appointments of Obama will do what is necessary to keep it going well to November.
The Fed is an organization composed of banks. How could banks be seen as apolitical. They are corporations that buy influence in government, as all corporations big enough to afford it do.
And the GOP has an extremely cozy association with banks too. It’s only Bernie and Trump who do not– and only since they are not establishment candidates at all, in the parties in which they are running.

Frog,
Answer the question. Why are you talking about FOX news and shit. It was NBC link.
You have an erection for these guys?
I will kick you in the shins with both feet if you say Fox or the word Republican again before the weekend is over

Chuck Bennett
I was responding to gapfiller saying that Dems get away with bad behavior & itās overlooked by the news. They donāt and it isn’t. Of course, not every station constantly bashes Obama & Hillary. But some do.
Does kicking people in the shins persuade a lot of people to agree with you?
I can tell these type of things…. Frog is scared as shit from getting kicked in the shins by both feet.
Moosh, this is an Internet board, for God’s sake. Nobody can kick anyone in the shins on the Internet. And no one is scared that that will happen.
Moosh, of course I, and you too, would probably be afraid in real life of a person who threatened to kick us in the shins. And we would certainly not hang around trying to have a conversation with them– as if they were a sane person.
Mr. Chuck Bennett,
Please only use the less dominant kicking shins foot, if you must. Even my bestests friends who are bonafide liberals, say I listen to fox news whenever I point out some of their political shit makes no sense. It seems like media and politics is a religion of sorts for them at times.
So what Right Wing news source do you get your “facts” from? They obviously think that what you think of as “political shit makes no sense” is lies that you read from one of your Right Wing news sources. Why don’t you make some progress in the discussion and tell them what your Right Wing news source is, so they know where you are getting your “facts” from? But perhaps you prefer to be violent toward them instead.
Do you also threaten to kick people with whom you disagree? Does that persuade anyone to see things your way?
E.g. if you tell your friends that Obama is a Muslim who wasn’t born in the U.S., maybe you think these are objective facts. And maybe you get them from Breitbart or somewhere other than Fox. But these are not really facts. They are Right Wing propaganda. And if you think these are facts, then your liberal friends who you are telling them to, know that your “news source” is Right Wing. They just guessed incorrectly as to which Right Wing “news source” it is.
Lol
I don’t like kicking shins, but when I do, I use both feet.
Regards
Chuck bennett
What’s the deal with violence and threats of violence? Are you one of those people on the videos showing people attacking protesters at Trump rallies?
Violence certainly never changed anyone’s mind politically. Does it make you feel powerful? If you can’t express yourself verbally in a way that has the result you want, then maybe you feel better if you think you are making your point by brute force? Don’t you end up in jail, when you do this in real life?
Look at the Horace and Pete show below. Would it have helped the discussion any if people had started kicking each other in the shins?

That’s the problem with politics in the U.S. today. When someone disagrees with someone else, rather often the Right Wing party gets insulting and/or goes into a rage and/or threatens to kick the other person in the shins. Although this may seem funny to some people on a blog comment section, it keeps politics stuck in the U.S.
No one wants to work together with someone who insults them or threatens violence every time there is a difference of opinion. If you are on the other side of this, you likely guess that that person is dangerous or crazy, and you stay away from them.
To get Right Wingers to act this way has been essential to the Divide and Conquer program of establishment politics. It keeps Americans of different viewpoints from banding together to work in their own and the country’s self interest. It keeps the political establishment, and Big Money, in complete control of the government.
Female…..they do not need to be, nor are they, rational.
We should have never let them vote or drive. They cannot be trusted with anything other than buying groceries or procreating.
š Seriously….What is going on here?
Just follow the money. The trail it leaves is glowing like the freeking yellow brick road on the way to Oz…aka White House.
BTW…..I think i have never seen anyone quite so brainwashed and delusional as frog.
He has swallowed the propaganda hook, line and sinker too. Rational, logical thought has been swallowed up in the black hole of liberalism with that one.
Interesting how Right Wingers tell me things what they think about me, and all of it is true– but about them, not me. People who believe President Obama is a Muslim born in Kenya, and they claim that I am brainwashed. Fascinating.
It is indeed true that rational, logical thought in the U.S. has been swallowed up in the black hole of Right Wing propaganda.
As for the assertion that women should not be allowed to vote or drive, what can I say? You could move to Saudi Arabia, but no, you can’t. You would be too radically Right Wing for that country, as women can vote there now.
