NIKKEI IS GETTING RANSACKED NOW

Japan’s NIKKEI is down more than 500, or 3.1% on a very negative business sentiment reading–the worst in 3 years. The Hang Seng is down in sympathy, off by 281 or 1.36%.

The primary excuse for poor Japanese business sentiment, aside from a sick perverted affinity for robots and anime, is the strong Yen. Fucking HORSESHIT.

Nasdaq futures are down 14.

Here are some of the losers trading in Japan.

NIKKEI

It’s all going to hell anyway. You might as well enjoy the slide lower.

As an aside, what’s up with the media’s obsession with taking pictures of random, often disheveled, asian men or women walking past a wall of high end monitors–which are displaying heinous stock quotes? It cracks me up, without fail.

Japan will yet be a complete case study of Keynesian failure.

Austrian economics has been disproved over and over. I will have to look up some articles to see if Japan is really the one example of Keynes actually being wrong. Right Wing economics writers repeat Austrian economics ideas over and over again, even though they are almost always wrong. Austrian, or Austerian one might call them, economics is why Europe is in such a mess right now. They are austerity- ing themselves to death.

Krugman’s ideas on what Japan should be doing, as of last October

Krugman is Keynsian and he’s great. Very fact and data and statistics oriented.

Krugman is a cherry-picking data propagandist whose sole example of Keynesian “success” is Argentina circa 2001. I am sure he considers the failure of the USSR to be a case of “the right people weren’t in charge”. Meaning himself, of course.

Yes, that is what the Right Wing economic propaganda always says. But Right Wing economics is fact free.

Krugman has never said anything in favor of the system of economics or government of the former Soviet Union. Only in
Right Wing propaganda fantasies do such things happen.

And as for your Krugman link “rethinking Japan”, that is about the biggest bunch of waffling BS Krug has ever produced. He still goes on about the fantasy construct of “liquidity traps” but the truth is that he is now stuck in a “Keynesian BS trap” of his own making.

Yes, according to fact-free Right Wing economics, Keynesian economics ois all bs. But in the real world, Keynesian economics works.

Right Wing economics is where big tax cuts from already low taxation levels, magically lower the federal deficit. You get to have your cake and eat it too, in your fantasy land of unicorns.

I called it a Lance Bass moment two days ago, rofl…before I caught my mistake. Ah Kyle Bass. OF COURSE JAPAN is getting killed after Tanken. Yellen rallied the Yen so hard after her comments BOTH times. Japan can’t handle a strong Yen. Abe and Kuroda are losing face. This has to tip soon.

More on Right Wing fantasy economics, the difference between the 2 parties, such as they are (not real large differences, I must agree.) And how GOP reformers (well, other than Trump) get nowhere because the Powers That Be at the GOP don’t want to change anything about their party.

Krugman agrees with Le Fly that the GOP establishment will indeed self-destruct by going this route of being frozen in time, not noticing the shift in their voters and their expectations.
