B. Clinton: ‘Let’s Put the Awful Past 8 Years Behind Us’

I am certain they will spin this by saying “B. Clinton was high off cocaine and didn’t have his marbles about him.” Or, maybe they’ll say ‘Bill was undergoing brain surgery at the time of his speech and cannot be held accountable for the words coming out from his mouth.’

Without question, Bill just rebuked Obama and his entire Presidency, from hoof to horn.

This is almost impossibly stupid. Is absolutely everyone in national politics a raving looney now?

The South already voted. Hard to say if this is pandering to whites or fear of Bernie or fear of indictment. Hillary only wins old women and southern blacks.

The biggest lie of this election so far is Hillary having it in the bag. Trump gets as good a press as Bernie. Fucking horrible propaganda. Crazy times.

He could not have meant that…I heard him (in person) during last election give the most beautiful speech endorsement for President Obama & then Bruce Springsteen came out & sang. I seriously wander if that will get picked up by Press…if I did not just view that video I would not have believed it Fly….SMH. WOW?

I looked this up on the Internet. Here is the story in USA Today, with this update explanation.

*Update: An aide to Bill Clinton says the legacy he was referring to was Republicans’ obstructionism.

“When Republicans controlled the White House, their trickle-down approach drove our economy to the brink of a collapse. After President Obama was elected, Republicans made it their number one goal to block him at every turn,” spokesman Angel Urena said in a statement. “That unprecedented obstruction these last eight years is their legacy, and the American people should reject it by electing Hillary Clinton to build on President Obama’s success so we can all grow and succeed together.”

Soooo… Clintons’ aid is saying that Hillary will build on Obama’s success in dealing with the Republicans or we will continue with the obstruction? Were the 8 years good for Obama or the Republicans? Please enlighten me Mr. Frog.

He was saying Hillary is going to somehow stop the Republicans from obstructing her every step of her way toward progressive policies, as Republicans did to Obama. I think he is being more hopeful than realistic in this.

I thought it was interesting that the You Tube video title contained the words “Slams Obama’s Awful Legacy” but Obama’s name was not mentioned by Clinton in the video. Such is the nature of the Internet. Often misleading to the max.

When Right Wingers talk or act aggressively, the Right Wing media says they are “strong leaders.” When Dems do it, they are considered the Anti-Christ. Both Dems and the GOP do that. It’s just that the explanation given is different.

all true, which don’t change the fact that Hillary sucks

Hillary is a lot more influenced by neo-cons than I would like her to be. I am for Bernie, who is not a neo-con. If he doesn’t win, I will vote for Hillary and will pray that other Democrats will find a way to pull Hillary away from the neo-cons. Hillary is probably a bit less neo-con that the GOP establishment candidates are.

Every president acts aggressively in M. E. foreign policy. The problem is that the news media characterize it as totally different, depending on which party the president belongs to. So this fools the voters into believing that our M.E. policy shifts when the party in the presidency changes. It does not.

As a result, voters are clueless as to what we are doing in the M.E., how consistent it is, and how misguided it is. They think their choice is “weak Democrat” vs. “strong Republican.” When both establishment party candidates are doing exactly the same thing. And so the voters have no choice, since they do not know that the choice they are given is a fake one.

Obama is somewhat less neo-con than Hillary is. I wish we could have him for another 4 years.

People hear what they want to hear. Maybe I am guilty, too. But I took it the way USA Today described it.

When a “new source” often label a video or a news story with words or names that are not contained in the story, words or names that ought to be included in the story if the label is correct, that is always a clue that there is distortion or lying going on.

Right Wing “news sources” often start their “news gathering” process with the assumption that Obama is the Anti-Christ, and work backwards from that assumption, to find justification for the assumption.

Longview, some people hear a lot more of what they want to hear, and a lot less of what is real, than others. In Right Wing “news sources”, everything that is heard is immediately put through the filter question: “How does this prove that Obama or Hillary is the Anti-Christ?”
