Marco Rubio just announced he’s out of the running for top checkered pants republican candidate for President. Heretofore, he was a meaningless first term U.S. Senator. After today, he’s a humiliated first term Senator.

It’s rumored that Catchers Mitt Romney is going to enter the race, in order to take some delegates, especially from his psychotic home state of Utah. If the GOP is going to broker the convention, they might just tap old Mitt to lead the way towards another L.

Well, that would be entertaining. I can’t see voters switching to vote for someone who just suddenly jumped into the race at this late date. But the GOP establishment is so completely out of touch with voters that I can see how they could delude themselves into believing that would work.
