By the way, who the fuck is writing headlines for NBC news?

They might as well title it “ROMNEY TO CUT OFF TRUMP’S COCK” and tell America how they really feel about him.
Look, the GOP establishment hates Trump more than the democrats. They will do anything in their power to keep the border porous and fucked up trade deals in place, for the benefit of the oligarchy aka America’s aristocracy.
Today they are peddling out Mitt Romney to call Trump and phony (ooh, how below the belt). Tomorrow they’ll bring out one of his former wives to promote scandal.
Trump has preempted Mitt’s scripted marching orders and has taken to the Twitter machine to show his disdain.

mitt will be sporting a “vote for hillary” button soon
Most polls showed that Mitt would beat Obama in 2012. Remember that when Mitt points to polls showing Trump losing to Hillary.
Record turnout in Republican primaries so far.
Turnout for Democrats is down from 2012.
Mitt is being a moron, and I like Mitt.
Mitt made that one comment when he was being recorded without his knowledge at that fundraiser…That lead to his downfall; he was on pace to win the election before that.
I don’t think that comment hurt him for the precise reason he mentioned it. “That 47% willl not vote for me regardless.” That was true whether they heard that comment or not. What was not true, I think, was the number. It was more like 54%.
I don’t think that comment turned anyone off to Mitt other than those that were already turned off to Mitt, that is – The ~54%.
Mitt had all the momentum up until that point. He was crushing Obama in debates, but that video was released two months before the election, and instead of continuing his attacks, Mitt had to go on the offensive.
Why that comment was the downfall of Mitt is because it turned away the most vital group in a national election: the middle ground moderates/undecided voter who has no allegiance to a party.
It doesn’t matter what Hilary or Trump say to each other; it’s how the middle ground moderate views the candidates. The reason, in my view, of why Trump beats Clinton (one vs. one and no other Republican candidate) is that 1) No Republican will vote for Clinton, but more importantly, 2) Trump appeals to the undecided/moderates more than Hilary does– just look at how he is boosted Republican voter turnout.
That comment wasn’t the downfall of Mitt. Obama’s precise and ruthless ground campaign in Ohio was. Check into it. The whole 47% thing was just media hype and meant nothing.
Trump’s ascent, in this day of age of political correctness and being demonized for the slightest insult, is truly amazing.
My theory about his popularity is that he has the stage and resources to express what most Americans, whether conservative or liberal, actually agree upon: the government and politicians (both Dems and GOP) are inept.
This is why both parties hate him, but he appeals to the masses.
100% agree. Also why the Republicans are trying to stop him even though he turned out 4X as many voters in the primaries as Mitt in 2012.
The two parties are really just one. He’s making it obvious.
What a mess that party is.
Loving this Drumpfinator extension to Google Chrome. Trump, Trump, Trump!
Make Donald Drumpf Again.
John Oliver is better than the entire GOP is at undermining Trump.
If Romney wants to turn the GOP nomination/Nov election into a referendum on whether or not special interests can buy US elections, politico’s and policy, I can’t think of a better way to do than his speech tonight? I’m pretty sure the American people will let him know which side of that issue they’re on. What idiocy from the 1%….
The Drumpf will prove to be the best el Prezidente, ever!
Trump’s active/real time use of twitter is an advantage because he’s already combating and fending it off before the media can build momentum with it.
The Republican Party has become the party of the Koch brothers, Fox “News” and tea party radio ranters.
They have earned the fucked up mess they are in.
The truly scary one is Cruz. The Taliban and Isis have proven that uncompromising religious fundamentalism destroys countries.
Remember when the GOP said that the ridiculous number of candidates in their primary clown car was proof that they were a diverse and capable party? What great bench strength, the pitiful Reince Priebus crowed!
Trump is right about one thing: NOTHING but losers. Now they have to exhume Romney from the political graveyard to act as attack dog. Romney, who comes prepackaged with YouTube-documented hypocrisy.
They have no bench. They have no starting lineup. They have nothing.
Me, most every night: “Joe, it’s getting late…give me one more double schadenfreude on the rocks. Then I want you to cut me off. If you bring me another, I won’t pay for it.”
