Actually we may have a little bit of fun coming up….the India Government last night came out and said no ban on Exports of Ore…at the sametime the Gov of Karnataka was filing their papers for the Court Hearing on Friday to argue for a Ban in his Ports….this is a power struggle smack down…before all of that, China/India Ore hit 3 month high for spot. For Breadth today it’s setting itself for a lot of hard resistance for the rest of the week , In my Stock Diary last night I indicated the two ways it could go….either a nice drop and really sweet easy moves up or a hard grind up….Market picked the second method….will be interesting to watch it all play out.

I ate lobsters this weekend in NH like stadium peanuts. As an equalizer, we also ate at an Ethiopian restaurant in Harvard Square to “balance the fucking power” there. I saw scrap metal piles in the port were being processed constantly and that indicates at least some activity is occurring in that market. I also noticed a healthy amount of $M+ houses on the market in the coastal areas, most offered by Sotheby’s.
I have two stocks I’m looking at today- ETH and EBIX. ETH is now profitable with earnings turning positive and looking to normalize in that $0.50 to $0.65 range (EPS per Q). Advertising will be increasing and commissions will remain to incentivize sales associates (whose numbers have increased too). Not to mention 22% of the shares are short.
EBIX is purely an earnings play because despite poor market performance in the annuities, life, and health/property insurance segments, the company has grown organically qoq since Q4 by attracting customers thus levering them to an insurance recovery.
FFIV is a beast too, but christ it’s overpriced.

Took profits in most of my swing longs today, (TBT, DDM UCO). Riding a small 1/8th position in DDM.
I still think we’re higher into fall, but not in a straight line 90 degree angle.
I am strongly positioned in UPRO, URTY and DRN. I think now is the time for me to join the distinguished gentlemen of the PPT, I never ride these things long enough and leave a shitload on the table. I’d like to ride the meltup as long as possible.
