Didn’t think the 717 pivot would stick just yet but impressive to “bounce” that far from the 696 pivot without the financials you must admit. Keep your eye on 734, it could be a game changer. Just like the China announcement caught the shorts by surprise so could a “mark to market” or “uptick rule” change bring the financials into the fold abruptly and find the shorts scrambling to cover. I still agree with Fly though regarding GE being the straw that will stir the drink for the financials to provide any rocket fuel.
