McCain/Palin doesn’t cut it for me for so many reasons, almost too many to mention. The only reasonable alternative at this point is to vote for Obama.
Acting as if we’re a humane society has always been important to me and national health care has been a goal of mine for a long time. McCain’s method of providing national health care sucks because as I understand it, it makes the full value of employer provided health care coverage taxable compensation. The $5,000 annual tax credit won’t be viewed as so helpful when it turns out your employer plan has a value of $12,000 a year and rising.
To me it comes down to this: McCain hasn’t got a clue. Obama is smart enough to get a clue.

National Healthcare ios a complete disaster unless of course you like to wait 3-4 weeks to get a checkup for your cold, an xray for your son’s broken arm, or a pap smear for your daughters possible uterine cancer?
The thing that TRULY BOGGLES my mind is how egregiously uneducated and uninformed MOST voters are.

Market Fool, I lived in England several years (quite a while ago) but was very pleased with the NHS care, loved it in fact. You can have your own additional private health care policy there in case for any reason you want to go to a private doctor for different or faster care.
To me it comes down to this: McCain hasn’t got a clue. Obama is smart enough to get a clue.

Plenty of “smart people” in universities the world over who backed eugenics and socialism from the twenties onward.
