You should go to Dubrovnik at some point in your life if you’re a traveling type; it’s the “ultimate fairytale old city”. I say this as I’m back again and naturally, my mom loves it. Also, met this couple who just did a bender Euro tour like they were 19 when they are 57 and they wish they had more time.
As always, how long you stay is up to you but it’s worth seeing.

Dubz, I absolutely love this pic. My friend & her husband departed for Croatia this week. SHABL has been daily reading for her. She really enjoyed, and found your insights of use. I do get the travel bug perusing these posts. Still no passport yet, though… ha ha! and please send my regards to the lovely mama Dubz.
Thanks and I’m glad they are coming to visit as well as take the time to peruse the countless pages on SHABL. I recommend you look into getting that passport; it’s an expense which is well worth it and will open up the world for you.
Best not wait on that passport, there’s still the future risk of being denied a passport (and emigration) by the US state department if you owe taxes to the IRS. In 2012 a bill presented by Harry Reid (D-Nev) passed the (Democrat-controlled) Senate that would have done just that, fortunately the (Republican-controlled) House killed the bill.
Well said Charlie; do it tomorrow Buccs, there are LOTS of beers around the world waiting to be cracked open.
