These are photos from a helicopter ride I took over the Great Barrier Reef the other day at Hardy Reef in the Whitsundays about a two hour cruise from Hamilton Island.
This is obviously just a sliver of the reef itself, it spans over 2600km and to say it’s massive would be an understatement and it’s clearly the world’s largest reef.
Photos kinda speak for themselves and most definitely a memorable experience.
More on this area at a later date, round two of the breakfast buffet is calling me.

No but supposedly that whole movie is BS as that fish is the “transexual” of the reef.
They are all born male but some turn female so the whole premise of the movie is off!

Nice to take the whirley bird out to the reef – the boat ride out and back takes too long, and you got a better view as well… Thought I had it all figured out.
I only did a quick tour; I too sat on that boat.
